WE’RE BACK! PARK RE-OPENING FROM 17 NOVEMBER ONWARDS

The team at Tree Adventures are thrilled to announce our high-wire adventure park in Woodhill Forest will reopen from Wednesday 17 November onwards. As always, the health, safety and wellbeing of our team and visitors remains our top priority and our decision to reopen the park includes a range of new restrictions and conditions which ensures the experiences we provide are as safe as they can be at the present time.

The following Conditions of Entry apply to ALL visitors during Alert Level 3 Step 2:

  • Visitors to the park MUST be fully vaccinated (if eligible). Only children under the age of 12 years and those with an official medical exemption are exempt from this requirement. No exceptions will be made.
  • Visitors MUST be able to provide official proof of vaccination (official Ministry of Health documentation).
  • Anyone who is feeling unwell or displaying any COVID-19 symptoms MUST stay at home and follow Ministry of Health Guidance. Our team will be screening all visitors for symptoms during check-in.
  • Visitors aged 8 years+ MUST be wearing an appropriate face covering at all times when not undertaking the activities e.g. the carpark, reception, toilets and picnic areas. Participants will be allowed to remove their face covering while undertaking the activities e.g. before they start climbing. We still recommend children aged 7 years and under wear a face covering if possible.
  • Visitors MUST scan in using our NZ COVID TRACER APP QR CODE or complete our contact tracing form.
  • Visitors MUST keep a distance of 2m from other participants and groups in the park
  • Bookings are essential on any day. Now more than ever!

What we’re doing at the park to keep visitors and our team safe:

  • We’re proud to say that every member of the Tree Adventures team is fully vaccinated and will be wearing a face covering at all times.
  • Our online Risk Disclosure forms MUST be completed prior to check-in so we can avoid the use of paper forms as much as possible.
  • Bookings will be limited to 10 participants per half hour. Groups of more than 10 people will need to contact us directly to discuss their options.
  • Choosing the appropriate adventure option for nervous or less confident climbers will be at the discretion of Park Staff in order to reduce the likelihood of assistance/rescue on the activities. Don’t worry, assistance will still be given to those who need it.
  • We’ll be offering contactless transactions. Please no cash payments at this time.
  • Perspex screens will be installed at the reception desk and equipment fitting area.
  • Our covered reception area will be expanded with the addition of a 3m x 6m canopy.
  • Participants will be guided on how to fit their own safety equipment by Park Staff and any additional adjustments will be made by Park Staff from behind a perspex screen. We will ask parents/caregivers to help with fitting childen’s harnesses.
  • Each piece of safety equipment will be sanitised between uses.
  • Hand-washing and sanitising stations will be available throughout the park.
  • Shared and high touch surfaces will be regularly cleaned and sanitised.
  • Our reception area will include the use of barriers to ensure adequate spacing between groups.
