Get Prepared
Upon your arrival you will be greeted by our staff and asked for your booking name. All participants should have a completed Risk Acknowledgement form prior to arrival.
Please be aware that if you arrive more than a few minutes early for your booking you may have to wait until your booking time to be processed.
Payment
You will then be required to pay the remaining balance for your booking. We accept cash, eftpos, visa, mastercard, and amex. Once payment is completed everyone will receive a wristband, signifying your selected adventure option, and that you have completed check-in.
Safety Equipment Fitting
All climbers will be fitted with a harness and helmet by our staff. Once this is completed they will be asked to read the park safety rules.
Safety Demonstration
Our staff will lead your group through a 15 minute safety demonstration, then all climbers are required to familiarise themselves with our equipment on our practice course. Please note: you may be required to complete the safety demonstration and practise course with other customers.
Climb
The duration of your climb will depend on the adventure option you have selected. On average it takes 2.5 hours to complete an adventure option. Other factors such as how many other climbers are in the park at the time of your visit, the level of confidence and ability of your monkeys, etc. can effect your overall climb time. Please see the adventures page for more info. Please note: you may only complete each course once.
Break
You are welcome to take breaks during your visit. At the end of each course the climbers arrive back to the ground via a flying fox (zip-line), so it is not disruptive to their course progression to break for lunch or a snack.
Course Completion and Equipment Return
Upon completion of your adventure option everyone will be asked to return their safety gear and our staff will be on hand should they need any assistance.
- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing suited to activity in the outdoors that will be comfortable under a harness. We recommend not wearing short shorts or having an exposed midriff as this can be uncomfortable when wearing a harness.
- Closed in shoes (e.g. sneakers and trainers) are required, no open toe footwear including jandals, sandals or slip off shoes are allowed.
- Hair shoulder length or longer must be tied up to minimise the risk of it becoming caught. Hair needs to be tied as low as possible so that a helmet can be fitted properly. If you wear religious headwear that will not fit under a helmet please advise the staff at check-in.
- Gloves are not a requirement, but are available to purchase. You are welcome to bring your own gloves to wear while undertaking the activities, we recommend fingerless bicycle gloves.
- Please dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions, a light waterproof jacket is recommended when rain is forecast. Unfortunately, there are no changing room facilities at the park so please ensure you arrive in appropriate attire.
- We recommend you bring plenty of refreshments and snacks with you out to the park as there is no cafe on site. Tree Adventures is rubbish free, so please be prepared to take any rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
- All the necessary safety equipment is provided by Tree Adventures, please do not bring your own gear.
- All Tree Adventures staff will be wearing a face covering whenever they are in close contact with our visitors.
- Our online Risk Disclosure forms MUST be completed prior to check-in.
- Choosing the appropriate adventure option for nervous or less confident climbers will be at the discretion of Park Staff in order to reduce the likelihood of assistance/rescue on the activities. Don’t worry, assistance will still be given to those who need it.
- Perspex screens will be installed at the reception desk.
- Each piece of safety equipment will be sanitised between uses.
- Hand-washing and sanitising stations will be available throughout the park.
- Our reception area will include the use of barriers to ensure adequate spacing between groups.
Visitors aged 8 years+ MUST be wearing an appropriate face covering when at the reception area and during their safety briefing. This is because staff will come into close contact at these times. We still recommend children aged under 8 wear a face covering if possible.
- For safety reasons, all safety equipment is fitting by Park Staff, so they will need to be in close contact at this time.
- Park Staff may also need to come into close contact if assistance is required during training.
- Choosing the appropriate adventure option for nervous or less confident climbers will be at the discretion of Park Staff in order to reduce the likelihood of assistance/rescue on the activities. Don’t worry, assistance will still be given to those who need it.
You are welcome to have a break in the picnic area to enjoy some food and drinks. Please make sure you keep a distance of at least 2 m between you and other people and use the hand sanitiser provided.

Course Information
Tree Adventures is a forest adventure park offering 10 individual high-wire confidence courses ranging from 2 – 14 metres above the ground. Each course starts with a ladder that leads you to the first platform. From there you progress from tree to tree on an aerial pathway of activities, including high-wires, swinging logs, balance beams, Tarzan swings and tree surfing (to name only a few).
Each activity is designed to put your acrobatic skills and nerve to the test while ensuring everyone has plenty of fun. Improve your balance and build confidence as you conquer our unique treetop challenges. Once you have completed all of the activities on the course you are rewarded with an exhilarating flying fox (zipline) ride back to the ground.
Tree Adventures is suitable for anyone 5 years+ looking for a fun, challenging and rewarding experience (as long as they meet the minimum height requirement.)
Adventure Option Minimum Height Requirements
Tree Huggin’ – 1.1m
Monkey’n Around – 1.2m
Branching Out – 1.3m
High Flyer – 1.4m
Tarzan’s Test – 1.5m
If you’re still unsure what adventure option would be most suitable for your group Tree Adventures staff have created the following recommendations:
Adventure Option Recommended Age
Tree Huggin’ – Minimum 5 yrs +
Monkey’n Around – 7 yrs +
Branching Out – 9 yrs +
High Flyer – 12 yrs +
Tarzan’s Test – 14 yrs +
PLEASE NOTE: While the minimum height requirements ultimately determine what adventure option is suitable for your group we also take our age recommendations into account when deciding what adventure option is most appropriate. Tree Adventures Staff have the final say on what courses are appropriate.
On average a course takes 20-30 minutes to complete. Including preparation time and allowing for breaks each adventure option of four courses takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to complete. During busy periods courses can take longer to complete than the advised time.
Before climbing all participants are taken through a 15 minute safety demonstration led by a Tree Adventures instructor, then required to demonstrate understanding on a practice course. This ensures all climbers and supervisors are familiar with the park safety rules including how to use the safety equipment correctly and how to safely undertake the activities. Once participants have completed the practice course they continue unguided while Tree Adventures instructors actively patrol the park should anyone need assistance or have any questions.
While we encourage you to take your time on the activities and to stop for breaks as needed, you cannot keep climbing for as long as you want to, and each course in your adventure option may only be completed once. We do not actively enforce time limits, however in some cases when it is taking over 3 hours to complete the courses you may be required to stop climbing for reasons such as other participants requiring your safety equipment, or reaching closing time.
There is a weight limit of 130kgs for participation in the activities. Participation is also dependent on climbers adequately fitting the safety equipment. We have a range of different harness sizes available, with larger harnesses to ensure comfort for larger climbers.
Unfortunately due to safety risks anyone who is pregnant is unable to participate.
Yes, it is not a problem if your group would like to split over different adventure options as long as all climbers under 16 have appropriate adult supervision. Click here to view our supervision requirements.
Yes, if at any time you encounter difficulty or feel like you can’t continue climbing in the trees our specially trained rescue instructors are on hand to assist you and lower you to the ground if necessary.
Yes, spectators are more than welcome to follow you from the ground as you progress through the activities. There are pathways throughout the park, as well as picnic areas, so everyone is welcome. There is no charge for spectators.
